DARK PATTERNS

Whenever I look at things on ebay on the bottom left corner there's always this little thing that says how many people are viewing that specific item. I personally want to buy those things when I read things like that. It gives me a sense that the item is eye catching.

I'M IGNITED

A question that got my attention was if people could live on mars. It got my attention because wouldn't it be so cool to live in a whole new planet. A whole new world. I think it'd be pretty cool.

LAST CENTURY'S WRITING STYLES

Genre: A category of artistic composition, as in music or literature, characterized by similarities in form, style, or subject matter. Realism is believing that reality can be determined through the observation of nature while modernism is believed that people make their own meaning in the world. While in realism faithful representation of reality is important, in naturalism, nature itself is an indifferent force.

ARGUE THIS

Syllogism: An instance of a form of reasoning in which a conclusion is drawn from two given or assumed propositions, each of which shares a term with the conclusion. My big question is what makes you smile, everyone smiles, therefore everyone has a reason to smile. And I would like to know.

THE WORLD IS MY LIBRARY

One novel I've been trying to read for sometime is "Talking as Fast as I Can" by Lauren Graham. I found her book when I watched an interview she had with Ellen Degeneres and it just always spoke to me. The next novel/short story that appealed to me is "The Necklace" by Guy De Maupassant. This spoke to me because I read a little bio of the short story and it states it is known for its twist ending. I'm a sucker for novels and movies with a twist at the end. I love how it makes you rethink the whole thing all over again and kind of become your own detective and try and figure out what lead to the plot twist. I found this short story by searching up "Best short stories" and "The Necklace" appealed to me.

AMERICAN LITERATURE

American literature is the written or literary work produced in the area of the United States. I can contribute to American literature by writing. Either it's an essay, a short story, a novel, or a letter. I do these things on a daily basis at school and at home. So I would say I'm already contributed to American literature.
